Releases and compatibility

This manual targets published stable v0.18.0. The /download/ page lists installer availability from public release metadata. Dedicated sections marked unreleased / main describe source commit 211f0237bcb8f59580cade245c0f50651aa8fb22; those workflows are not included in v0.18.0.

Device resources require resource.k8s.io/v1 and appropriate driver and RBAC support. See device resources and YAML draft review for the v0.18.0 additions.

Choose the correct OS and architecture. Kubernetes API availability varies by cluster version and installed CRDs. Metrics require metrics.k8s.io; Gateway API, VPA, JobSet, Argo CD and Tekton appear only when their APIs are installed and readable. Helm writes additionally need a compatible local Helm executable.

Before upgrading, preserve kubeconfig and note local workspace/settings expectations. If a view disappears, check release notes, API discovery and permissions before treating it as data loss.
